The Second Battle of Manassas

The second battle of Manassas occured August 28-30, 1862 and it was right near the town of Manassas, Virginia, on the same battlefield as the first battle of Manassas. The Union fought well because they didn't want to lose at Manassas again since they already lost the first battle of Manassas. The Confederacy fought very well too. Sadly for the Union, they didn't get their wish because they lost again, here, at the second battle of Manassas, and were forced to retreat.
