Union Colonel Joshua Chamberlain

Joshua Chamberlain was a Union Colonel during the Civil War. He commanded most of the Union forces at Little Round Top at the battle of Gettysburg including his own brigade, the 20th Maine. During the fight at Little Round Top, Chamberlain was wounded when a Confederate militia shot him in the arm. Chamberlain responded by shooting the Confederate militia in the head with his Colt Revolver. The Confederate militia died instantly.
